Next Engage Night

Why would Anyone Want to Be Catholic?

What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swayed by the wind? If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings’ palaces. Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. This is the one about whom it is written: ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’ (Matthew 11:7)

Faith is a gift that is easily taken for granted, and how beautiful it is to discover, (or rediscover), the richness, history and ultimate truth of the Catholic Faith. Young Adults, join us next Thursday, August 12th at 7 pm at the Dorf Haus for our Engage night discussion on this very important topic. We'll be hearing Richard Mason share his journey of faith from Pentecostalism to entering the Catholic Church. Remember that there is Adoration & Confessions available at St. Norbert's from 5-7 pm! See you there!

"We have received the gift of faith with little labor of our own. Let us learn to value it from those who reached it after long search... Then, as now, there were many religious opinions, but only one certain-the certainty of the Catholic faith. This certainty should be the measure of our confidence and our zeal." ~ Lives of the Saints
